Man of the Match performance from Sean Enright.
End to end rugby in the warming autumn sunshine in this high scoring game. Play from both sides was open and the game flowed with some great attacking rugby. Deeping scored eight tries all but one under the posts. Market Harborough replied with similar pace and power but tackles being missed and Deepings slick off-loading and support running gave them greater options with their centres romping in six of the eight tries scored.
Vet Captain Paul Rogers said after the match "A special thanks to the Vets who played very well against a fired up and hard Harborough team. They brought a big pack of forwards with them and we knew they would bring a strong team and they didn't disappoint us. The game swung backwards and forth with some really thrilling scores, all of them lengthy moves going through the hands. This was a good workout for many of the guys especially the lads who have not played so far."
