Saturday 19th September SCOB 05 - 62 DRUFC
Deepings made it 2 from 2 with an away trip to Stamford College on an extremely warm and sunny afternoon. Deepings racked up 10 tries in the 80 minutes.
The first half was run a brisk pace with Deepings relentless attack not giving Stamford a chance to gather their thoughts or the ball and ended 00-38. The second half started slow for the visiting side and Stamford kept the Deepings side pinned into their half for the first 20 minutes. Though Stamford had all the possession they were unable to break the Green line other than one unconverted try which could just as easily been a knock on?
Deepings then woke them selves from their siesta and comfortably ran in a further four trys giving a full time score of 05-62.
Man of the match went to second row James Clarke.
