Deepings dis-organisation and missed chances saw the game slip away.

The fixture was re-arranged from earlier in the year when Thorney had to cancel due to a wedding one of their players getting married. Ironically Deeping had a wedding on the date of the re-arranged fixture but in the essence of the game they still managed to fulfil the fixture with a scratch side.
