The countdown to the new season has officially begun, and there’s plenty to get excited about. Summer training has returned on Tuesday evenings, offering the perfect chance for everyone to shake off the off‑season and get back into the rhythm. Watch out for T1 sessions, coming to a Thursday near you soon. T1 will replace the outdated touch sessions, it's fast, inclusive, and a brilliant way to build skills and fitness for all ages, sexes and abilities.

And make sure you save the date: 29th August.
That’s Presidents Day, and this year it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet. We’re packing the day with entertainment for the whole family, from the rugby on the pitch to food, childrens entertainment, music and more. It’s the perfect way to bring the community together before the season kicks off.

We’ll also be expanding the fixture calendar which is live now with more Vets only (35+) matches and additional 5‑5‑5 fixtures to be added, giving even more players the chance to pull on the shirt. Keep an eye on the website, new fixtures will be added.

Meanwhile, the BIG Conversion renovations continue inside the clubhouse. With the Rijo machine and the kitchen serving supporters throughout matchdays, we’re aiming to make the club a place people genuinely want to spend time — not just on the pitch, but around it.

And that matters.
Because home support isn’t just noise, it’s momentum. When the touchline is full, when the cheers lift, when the lads hear their family, friends and community behind them, it changes matches, it chages results. A strong home crowd can swing tight moments, lift tired legs, and turn pressure into belief. It’s the kind of advantage you can’t coach, but you can feel. This season, we want every Deepings player to run out knowing they’re backed by something bigger than the other 14 on the the field.
