The Lincolnshire ‘Young Leaders Programme’ is a new programme looking for 18 students with an interest or experience in Rugby Union.

Purpose:

The Lincolnshire ‘Young Leaders Programme’ is a new programme for 2012/13 looking for 18 students between the ages of 15-18 with an interest or experience in Rugby Union. We aim to provide support through kit, training, and providing opportunities for young people who want to get involved in Rugby Development.

The Role:

As a member of the ‘Young Leaders Programme’ you will be working alongside RFU Staff and volunteers in your local area, the opportunities will include; coaching, refereeing, event support & project delivery.

The focus of the role will vary depending on age / locality however it will give each young leader an opportunity to develop their skills within the Rugby Union environment.

The Benefits:

Use your skills, gain new ones and experience of working within the rugby community

Receive RFU branded clothing to wear when carrying out the role

Receive free training courses such as; Rugby Leaders Foundation Certificate, Start Coaching Tag Rugby, Young Officials Award

Note:

All students that are successful will be expected to commit to a minimum amount of delivery once the training courses have been delivered
