The Nations Championship is officially arriving in 2026. This isn't just a series of friendlies; it is a high-stakes, biennial battle for global supremacy staged between the World Cup and the British & Irish Lions Tour.

The Format: North vs. South
The world’s elite have been divided into two powerhouse groups. Representing the Northern Hemisphere are the Six Nations giants: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales.
Standing in their way is a lethal Southern Hemisphere contingent featuring the SANZAAR heavyweights—Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa—alongside invitational powerhouses Japan and Fiji.

Why This Matters
• Six Gruelling Rounds: Three rounds in the Southern Hemisphere (July) and three in the North (November).
• The Grand Finale: It all culminates in a first-of-its-kind Finals Weekend to crown the dominant nation on the planet.
