Following the targeted in a break-in during the early hours of the 23rd January, approximately 03:00 AM, when two individuals gained entry to our building via the kitchen window before forcing their way into the bar area, we are appealing again, just in case anyone in the immediate area has still to check camera footage from any security devices at their property.
The Impact on Our Club
As a community-run club, we rely on our weekend revenue to keep our doors open during the season. Due to the break-in, our kitchen had to be closed, stripped, and deep-cleaned to ensure safety and hygiene standards.
While it is impossible to calculate the exact loss of revenue from a closed kitchen during a busy weekend, we are incredibly proud of our volunteer members who spent their morning scrubbing and resetting the facilities. Their hard work has ensured we can get back on our feet as quickly as possible.
Why We Need Your Help
Unfortunately, we have been informed that these damages will not be covered by our insurance policy. This leaves the club with an unexpected bill of at least £700 to make the building secure and operational:
Kitchen Window (£500): To supply, fit, and "make good" the point of entry.
Bar Door (£200): To repair forced damage, replace locks, and ensure the area is secure.
How You Can Support Us
One of our dedicated parent members has kindly set up a GoFundMe page to help us bridge this financial gap. We are already genuinely overwhelmed by the early support, with over £380 raised so far.

Please check you footage for between 02:30 and 03:30 on 23rd January, if you see anything even if it doesn't look suspicious, please contact Lincolnshire Police quoting the incident number for this 26000043010 from 23/01/2026.
Thank you for standing with Deepings RUFC. We may have been broken into, but the spirit of this club remains as strong as ever.
