We were thrilled to host the RFU England Rugby First Contact Course at the club run by Tim Mowbray, an RFU England Rugby Coach Developer. This non-assessed course is absolutely vital for anyone working with players in contact rugby, focusing heavily on safely coaching and refereeing the contact areas of the game. Whether you are a seasoned coach, a referee, or just getting started, the skills covered are essential for keeping our game safe, fast, and fun.

The evening was a massive success, and it was wonderful to see such a brilliant turnout.

Putting Club Development First
Deepings RUFC has been identifying the key training courses that our club needs most, with the goal of bringing top-tier RFU training directly home to Deepings. We are absolutely delighted to see this initiative officially come to life on the pitch!

We hope you all headed home inspired and equipped with valuable new skills to carry forward into your age-grade coaching journeys. Every step counts, and tonight was a massive milestone for our club's development.
