2026 Six Nations Finale: DRUFC Fantasy Champion Crowned!

Deepings RUFC16 Mar - 10:49

While international stars clashed on the pitch, an equally fierce rivalry unfolded right here in the DRUFC 6 Nations Fantasy League!

Thank you to everyone who took part and made this year's fantasy league our best one yet!

What a tournament! From the opening whistle in February to the high-stakes drama of Super Saturday, the 2026 Six Nations has been a rollercoaster for rugby fans. Ireland and France pushed each other to the limit for the title, while the home nations delivered moments of pure magic (and the occasional heartbreak) that kept Clubhouse busy and us all on the edge of our seats.

But while the international stars were battling it out on the pitch, an equally fierce rivalry was taking place right here at the club in our DRUFC 6 Nations Fantasy League.

And the Winner Is...
After five rounds of tactical substitutions and captaincy gambles, we have our champion! Huge congratulations to LYNCHPIN, who finished at the top of the mountain with a staggering 2544.0 points. Holding off a late surge from Haywood (2441.0) and the joint-third finishers Fighting Goblins and Millsy to secure the title. Scroll down to see the top 15 leaderboard.

LYNCHPIN now has a choice to make: a brand new official replica match shirt of any 2026 Six Nations team, OR they can choose to donate the equivalent value of the shirt to a charity of their choice.

How to Claim: LYNCHPIN, please e-mail the club at club@deepingsrufc.co.uk to verify your details. We will then pass your information to our sponsor to fulfill the prize!

The Hall of Fame: Specialist Superstars
While only one person can take the overall crown, several of our managers earned "Special Mentions" for their incredible stats over the tournament:

The Champ: Scuderia Italia for winning 2 gamedays.

The Greatest: LYNCHPIN for the single highest round score of 602 (Round 2).

The Finisher: LYNCHPIN again, whose team crossed the line for 31 tries.

The Captain: Baileys Egg Chasers, averaging a brilliant 99.5 points with their captains.

The SuperSub: Fighting Goblins, proving the bench matters with 156 points from subs.

The Wall: Gareth Bell, the defensive mastermind with a massive 792 successful tackles.
