The Club would like to extend its heartfelt and sincere thanks to the entire Deepings community for the overwhelming support shown by attending the 2025 Deepings Fireworks Extravaganza.

The Power of Community Support
For the past few years, the club has faced a significant challenge: attendance at the annual spectacle has been alarmingly low. This unfortunately meant that the essential costs of staging the display—from professional pyrotechnics to safety measures—far exceeded the income generated from ticket sales. The club was in a difficult position, absorbing these losses to maintain a tradition, and had seriously begun to consider whether it could continue to hold future displays at all.

The incredible turnout this year has changed everything!

The Club invests a substantial amount of money and countless volunteer hours to bring cherished community events like the fireworks display to life. This dedication extends beyond the club's grounds; our willing volunteers consistently turn out to lend a hand at other vital local gatherings, including the Maxey Car Show and the Deepings Raft Race.

We recognise that the landscape of public events has shifted dramatically since the COVID-19 pandemic. Sadly, several beloved community events have had to cease entirely due to changing attendance patterns and financial viability. But the support last Friday was a powerful statement that we must continue this tradition.

Looking Ahead: Bigger and Better in 2026!
The club has been proactively discussing ways to improve the fireworks event, and we have been carefully taking on board all the valuable feedback received from attendees. If you would like to let us know your thoughts please take the time to email us - club@deepingsrufc.co.uk

Because of your tremendous and encouraging support at Friday's event, we are thrilled to confirm that the Club will put on the show again in 2026!

We promise to be back (slightly) bigger and better than before, with plans already underway to enhance the experience. Expect (a little) more entertainment, and certainly more 'bang for your buck' as we look to make the 2026 Deepings Fireworks Extravaganza the best one yet.
