To end the season we have two matches, the first against Paviors at Bourne on Sunday 3rd April, with the second away against West Bridgford 'B' Team on Sunday 10th April.

We are aiming for everyone to participate in at least one of these matches, but clearly can't have everyone playing in both. The team playing Paviors will be broadly similar to the one that went to the NLD Semi, but with a few extra injuries to contend with, there will have to be some changes, and probably a slightly larger selection to cover first half retirements. The team vs West Bridgford will involve anyone who does not get to play against Paviors, though with a couple of positions requiring specialist skill and cover, there will be some crossover.

To help with squad selection, please can anyone who knows they are away this coming Sunday, or suffering from the after effects of the 7's, please let me know.

To finish off the season we are looking at holding a fun session on 17th April, venue to be confirmed.

Our remaining two matches are reliant on some decent rain on Wednesday as right now both the Deepings and Bourne pitches resemble what we saw on Sunday. If it doesn't rain, and soften things up, in the interests of safety we may have to call the game(s) off. As ever, we will keep you posted.

Finally, well done to everyone who played in the sevens. A hard day all round, but by stretching to three teams everyone played in every game, and we saw some fantastic team and individual performances. And one of my highlights - beating Stamford 'A' (or was that 'B') in one of the semis. Another good measure of how far the squad have all come this year.
