Last weekend saw our annual Firework Extravaganza. It was great to see the club so busy on this important event for us. Once again a big thank you to all involved in organising and helping during the event.
The following afternoon saw a great performance and victory for The Green Machine, defeating Brackley RUFC to move to 3rd in the league table. This week sees the team in action at home to Worksop in round 3 of the national vase, win this and they are just 4 more games from a Twickenham final. Let’s all give them as much support as possible from the touchline on Saturday afternoon Kick Off is 14.15.
Finally, I feel we all need to try and recruit more members into the club. We need to be pushing to field a 2nd XV during this season to help push the club on to the next level. Just as importantly we need to recruit more players for The Devils, they are working very hard to put teams out with very limited numbers available. They are a vital part of the development of the club both on and off the field so once again let’s give them all the support that we can.
