A fine victory for the Deepings Green Machine in their final pre season friendly. A dominant forward display set the platform for a 5 try to 1 victory. Scrummaging and line outs worked well and around the field was encouraging. Fine handling and running lines throughout the team provided numerous scoring opportunities and resulted in tries for: Chris Owen, James Hayward, Lance Charity, Phil Trotman and Jack Towers, Chris Owen adding 3 conversions.

Overall an encouraging performance before the league begins this weekend more training will improve teamwork and build towards a hopefully successful season.
