Last weekend gave us some great results on the field. 1ST XV winning 22-7 against Skegness to progress to round 2 of the RFU junior vase. This was followed on Sunday by great performances by the Devils and the U14’s, Devils putting in a fine performance beating Wellingborough 52-5 and the U14’s with a stunning 65-14 victory over St. Ives well done to you all.

I would like to thank you all for your support so far this year. We have had a few problems off the field with the unfortunate resignation of our membership and sponsorship secretary, this has obviously created a headache for us at this time of year. Anyone interested in helping with these roles please contact me ASAP. Hopefully the card machine will be back in operation behind the bar this week!!

Also not far away is the Clubs first VP Luncheon of the season. Saturday 08th October. A fun filled rugby afternoon at the club. Starting with an amazing four course lunch, cooked by our new caterers the “Scrummy Rucker” Then onto live action rugby outside with the 1st team taking on Bedford Swifts in the league. Not forgetting our 2nd team facing Bedford Athletic 3’s in a friendly. Alternatively, you can watch Harlequins v Northampton Saints live on BT Sports from the Twickenham Stoop on our six screens.
