The Benidorm 7's
Gentlemen, this season we tour Benidorm, Spain, to the 25th International Benidorm 7's Tournament.
This event attracts both social and serious teams from around the world. THE ANNUAL BENIDORM INTERNATIONAL RUGBY SEVENS has been run since 1987, and is organised by Villajoyosa Rugby Club (La Vila) with the support of Villajoyosa and Benidorm Councils, Tourist Board Costa Blanca and the Spanish Rugby Union.
It is a well established tournament that has grown over the past 25 years into the competitive international event that it is today. The tournament attracts first class national and international teams as it is the 25th Jubilee year the tournament is going to be bigger and better than ever before. Interest is already extremely high and places will fill up fast.
The tournament´s aim is to promote all levels of Rugby in Spain, in particular on the Costa Blanca. The three day competition is divided into two levels of Rugby: NATIONAL SIDES/INTERNATIONAL SELECTIONS & CLUBS
All matches are played at VILLAJOYOSA Stadium, there is a bar and catering facilities and covered seating for 3000 spectators.
